The Third ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Commitee

BPS Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information, Imam Machdi participated in "The Third ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC), The Sixth Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC) 2025" which was held in Surabaya today (25/7). Acting as chair of the ASEAN Community Statistical System (ACSS), Imam conveyed several points regarding the development of open data in the ASEAN region in relation to MPAC 2025.

The event was attended by several country representatives in ASEAN, including several sectoral bodies in charge of each sector in ASEAN. This activity focuses on discussing the 3-year Work Plan for MPAC (Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity) for the 2023-2025 period, including evaluation and monitoring of MPAC implementation in 2023.

On the same occasion, Imam who is also the Chair of the ACSS Sectoral Division also said that based on the evaluation results of information disclosure measurements on statistical indicators in each ASEAN country (ASEAN open data self-assessment), there have been positive developments from 2020 to 2022 regarding open data in the ASEAN region .
