Appeal from the Governor of Bengkulu to Make PL-KUMKM 2023 a Success

Implementation of Complete Data Collection on Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PL-KUMKM), which is a collaboration between the Ministry of Cooperatives and UMKM (KEMENKOPUKM) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), is ongoing from 15 September 2023 to 14 October 2023. This data collection is being carried out due to urgency. development of a Single Database of Cooperatives and MSMEs to support government policy in empowering KUMKM.

As a form of regional government support, the Governor of Bengkulu, Rohidin Mersyah, appealed to all levels of society to make PL-UMKM activities a success by welcoming officers. Governor Rohidin stated that this data collection is important in mapping Cooperatives and MSMEs because it is the basis for policies that are right on target and directed. He conveyed this support during an audience with the Head of BPS Bengkulu Province and his staff in the Bengkulu Governor's Office on Wednesday, September 13 2023.

There are 7 outputs from the implementation of PL-UMKM which include business actors, business units, labor use, supply and markets, income and expenditure structure, capital, and the benefits of digitalization in cooperatives and MSMEs. Implementation of PL-UMKM in 2023 includes permanent and non-resident businesses. The contribution of business actors who respond honestly and correctly means a lot for the success of implementing PL-KUMKM.
