Shallots are one of the dominant commodities contributing to Month to Month (m-to-m) inflation, namely 0.12 percent. Apart from that, there is purebred chicken meat at 0.08 percent, dencis fish, tuna/ambu-ambu fish, and potatoes at 0.04 percent each, garlic at 0.03 percent and tomatoes and tilapia each by 0.02 percent.
Meanwhile, in April 2024, Bengkulu Province's Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation will be 3.62 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 106.44. Bengkulu City's y-on-y inflation was 3.57 percent with a CPI of 106.41, and Muko Muko Regency's y-on-y inflation was 3.78 percent with a CPI of 106.52.
Meanwhile, the number of sea transport traffic in Bengkulu Province in March 2024 was recorded at 166 ships, an increase of 10.67 percent compared to sea transport traffic in February 2024 which was recorded at 150 ships. The number of flights at Fatmawati Soekarno Airport in March 2024 was recorded at 318 flights, an increase of 13.57 percent compared to February 2024 when 280 flights were recorded.
Meanwhile, the Bengkulu Province NTP for April 2024 was 175.63 or an increase of 4.28 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 4.63 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) rose more modestly by 0.34 percent.
