There are 4 major transformation efforts by BPS in producing various outputs that are very useful for the progress of statistics in Indonesia, which are in line with recommendations from the OECD (The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) on statistical good practices.
This transformation includes: (1) Strengthening the regulatory framework, such as the revision of the Statistics Law, PP on the National Statistics System, etc. to produce a national statistical regulatory framework; (2) Strengthening statistical methodology, including SNA 2025, Maritime GDP, and statistical governance in an effort to produce good practices in the field of statistics; (3) Strengthening statistical business processes, such as the national statistical infrastructure system (SISNAS) and improving the specifications of needs.
Furthermore, the 4th direction of transformation is institutional strengthening through institutional, budget, and performance arrangements to produce a strong national statistical institutional framework. This was conveyed by the Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information of BPS, Imam Machdi, in the Morning Roll Call Message read by the Middle Statistician of BPS Bengkulu Province Eko Fajariyanto, Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
In addition, in this Morning Roll Call, an Award was also presented to Meidio Talo Prista, S.ST as Employee of the Quarter II 2024 BPS Bengkulu Province.
