ACTIVE ROLE OF BENGKULU PROVINCE BPS IN TPID HIGH-LEVEL MEETING

To accelerate the pace of development in Bengkulu Province, support from various parties is needed. Therefore, synergy and collaboration are the main keys, one of which is synergy in controlling inflation.

Taking place at the Balai Semarak Regional Building, today, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, a High Level Meeting of the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) was held. Led by the Governor of Bengkulu, the meeting was attended by the Regents/Mayors throughout Bengkulu Province, the Bengkulu Provincial Forkopimda, Vertical Agencies, and related stakeholders. This meeting also presented speakers, including representatives from the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy of the Republic of Indonesia and Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Lampung, Prof. Bustanul Arifin.

The Head of BPS Bengkulu Province, Ir. Win Rizal, ME, conveyed important notes regarding the development of inflation in Bengkulu and mitigation efforts, especially the trend of rice commodity inflation.
