Abstract

The NTP of Bengkulu Province in November 2017 was recorded at 95.26 which means that the purchasing power of farmers in Bengkulu Province is still in deficit of 4.74 percent. This figure is higher than the NTP in October 2017 of 95.12 or an increase of 0.14 percent. The increase in Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) occurred in the food crops, horticulture and smallholder plantation sub-sectors. Changes in NTP in November 2017 for each sub-sector compared to October 2017 are as follows: food crops sub-sector (NTPP) 95.19 (up 1.00 percent), NTP horticulture sub-sector (NTPH) 114.58 (up 0.10 percent), NTP people's plantation subsector (NTPR) 85.50 (up 0.27 percent), NTP livestock sub-sector (NTPT) 106.57 (down 1.05 percent) and NTP fishery/fisherman sub-sector (NTN) 95.44 (down 0, 69 percent). The NTP of the capture fisheries sub-sector (NTNT) was 105.40 (down 0.70 percent) and the NTP of the aquaculture sub-sector (NTNB) was 91.74 (down 0.69 percent).
