Abstract

Bengkulu Province NTP in January 2018 was recorded at 95.42, which means that the purchasing power of farmers in Bengkulu Province is still a deficit of 4.58 percent. This figure is higher than the NTP in December 2017 of 95.12 or an increase of 0.31 percent. The increase in Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) occurred in the sub-sector of food crops and smallholder plantations. Changes in NTP in January 2018 for each subsector compared to December 2017 are as follows: food crops sub-sector (NTPP) 96.43 (up 1.24 percent), NTP horticulture sub-sector (NTPH) 115.73 (down 0.69 percent) , NTP for smallholder plantation crops (NTPR) 85.50 (up 1.03 percent), NTP for livestock sub-sector (NTPT) 105.04 (down 1.11 percent) and NTP for fishery / fishermen sub-sector (NTN) 94.90 (decrease 1.50 percent). Capture fisheries sub-sector NTP (NTNT) 104.64 (down 1.76 percent) and aquaculture sub-sector NTP (NTNB) 91.28 (down 1.38 percent).
