Abstract

In March 2018, the number of poor people (residents with per capita expenditure per month below the poverty line) in Bengkulu province reached 301,814 people (15.43 percent), a decrease of 15,173 people compared to March 2017 which was 316,977 people (16, 45 percent). The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2017 was 16.33 percent, down to 15.25 percent in March 2018. Meanwhile, the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2017 was 16.51 percent, down to 15.52 percent in March 2018.
