Abstract

  • The Bengkulu Province NTP in November 2018 was recorded at 95.27, which means that the purchasing power of farmers in Bengkulu Province was still a deficit of 4.73 percent. This figure is higher than the NTP in October 2018 of 94.11 or an increase of 1.23 percent. The increase in Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) occurred in all subsectors other than the livestock subsector. The NTP changes in November 2018 for each sub-sector compared to October 2018 were as follows: food crop subsector (NTPP) 101.59 (up 1.12 percent), horticulture sub-sector NTP (NTPH) 116.52 (up 1.13 percent) , People's plantation crop sub-sector (NTPR) NTP 81.90 (up 2.26 percent), livestock sub-sector NTP (NTPT) 106.87 (down 1.00 percent) and fisheries / fisheries sub-sector (NTN) NTP 98.71 (up 0.39 percent). Capture fisheries sub-sector (NTNT) NTP 107.34 (up 0.26 percent) and aquaculture fisheries subsector (NTNB) 95.48 (up 0.44 percent).
  • Agricultural Business Exchange Value was recorded at 104.80 or increased by 1.00 percent compared to October 2018 which was recorded at 103.76. The increase in Agricultural Business Exchange Value (NTUP) occurs in all subsectors other than the livestock subsector and capture fisheries. The changes in NTUP of each subsector are as follows: food crops 0.74 percent, horticulture 0.81 percent, smallholder plantations 2.17 percent, livestock farming -1.39 percent, fisheries 0.35 percent, capture fisheries -0.07 percent and aquaculture 0.51 percent.
