Abstract

The Star Hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Bengkulu Province in February 2019 was recorded at 68.27 percent, up 22.07 points compared to the hotel TPK in January 2019 which was recorded at 46.20 percent. When compared with the same month in 2018, star-rated ROR of hotels rose by 11.98 points.
  • The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) in star hotels in Bengkulu Province in February 2019 was 1.82 days, up 0.26 points compared to the hotel RLMT in January 2019 which was recorded at 1.56 days. However, when compared to the same month in 2018, RLMT of star hotels rose by 0.23 points.
  • Of the 10 Provinces on Sumatra Island, with star-rated RORs at 68.27 percent, Bengkulu Province was ranked as the highest TPK in Sumatra. The second highest starred TPK Hotel is Lampung Province with the amount of 54.44 percent. While the lowest ROR in Sumatra in February 2019 was the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which amounted to 30.17 percent.
