Abstract

The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Bengkulu Province in June 2019 was 58.98 percent, up 8.46 points compared to the hotel TPK in May 2019 which was recorded at 50.52 percent. When compared with the same month in 2018, ROR for star-rated hotels rose by 5.10 points.
The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) in star hotels in Bengkulu Province in June 2019 was recorded at 1.74 days, up 0.22 points compared to the hotel RLMT in May 2019 which was recorded at 1.52 days. When compared to the same month in 2018, RLMT of star hotels rose by 0.13 points.
Out of the 10 Provinces on Sumatra Island, with star-rated ROR of 58.98 percent, Bengkulu Province was ranked as the highest TPK in Sumatra. The second highest starred TPK Hotel is Lampung Province with the amount of 56.11 percent. While the lowest ROR in Sumatra in June 2019 is the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which is 34.00 percent.
