The highest in ation occurred in Meulaboh at 0.88 percent and the lowest in ation in Batam, Kediri and Kotamobagu at 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, the highest de ation occurred in Kupang at 0.92 percent and the lowest occurred in Sibolga, Tembilahan, Bekasi and Banyuwangi at 0.01 percent.
Bengkulu City in fl ation in August 2020 occurred due to price increases as indicated by increases in several price indexes for expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the highest in fl ation were the personal care and other services group at 2.17 percent, followed by the transportation group at 1.08 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel by 0.82 percent; the health group by 0.57 percent and the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.33 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced de ation were the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.69 percent; the education group of 0.63 percent; the equipment, tools, and household routine maintenance group by 0.30 percent and the clothing and footwear group by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the stable expenditure groups are the information, communication and financial services group and the food and beverage / restaurant supply group.
