Abstract

The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Bengkulu Province in July 2020 was recorded at 39.33 percent, up 17.41 points compared to the ROR for hotels in June 2020 which was recorded at 21.92 percent. When compared to the same month in 2019, the ROR for star-rated hotels fell by 27.63 points.
The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) at star hotels in Bengkulu Province in July 2020 was recorded at 1.64 days, an increase of 0.05 points compared to the RLMT of hotels in June 2020 which was recorded at 1.59 days. When compared to the same month in 2019, the RLMT of star-rated hotels decreased by 0.08 points.
Of the 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra, with the ROR for star-rated hotels at 39.33 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks the third highest ROR in Sumatra. The TPK for the first starred hotel is Lampung Province with a rate of 40.31 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest ROR in Sumatra in July 2020 was the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, amounting to 17.03 percent.
