Abstract
In August 2021, Bengkulu City experienced inflation of 0.16
percent. Based on the monitoring of the Central Statistics Agency in 90 cities
in Indonesia, 34 cities experienced inflation and 56 cities experienced
deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Kendari at 0.62 percent and the
lowest inflation was in Tanjung at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the highest
deflation occurred in Sorong at 1.04 percent and the lowest occurred in
Meulaboh, Sukabumi and Timika at 0.03 percent. With inflation of 0.16 percent
in August 2021, the amount of calendar year inflation (inflation rate) is 1.34
percent, and annual inflation (year on year) is recorded at 1.94 percent.
