Abstract

  • The economy of Bengkulu Province based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in third quarter of 2021 reached Rp 19.88 trillion and based on constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 11.89 trillion.
  • The economy of Bengkulu Province in third quarter of 2021 compared to the previous quarter experienced a contraction of 2.08 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Transportation and Warehousing Business experienced the highest decline of 12.41 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Household Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) experienced the highest decline of 4.40 percent.
  • The economy of Bengkulu Province in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the third quarter of 2020 experienced a growth of 2.47 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field experienced the highest growth of 12.90 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Export Component of Goods and Services experienced the highest growth of 15.98 percent.
  • The economy of Bengkulu Province in Quarter I to III-2021 against Quarter I to III- 2020 experienced a growth of 2.36 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in Financial Services and Insurance at 9.23 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services at 6.58 percent.
