In 2022, the rice harvested area is estimated at 58,664 hectares with a production of around 290,156 tons of GKG.

Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2022 is estimated at 58,664 hectares, an increase of 2,959 hectares or 5.31 percent compared to the rice harvested area in 2021 which is 55,705 hectares.
Rice production in 2022 is estimated at 290,156 tons GKG, an increase of 19,039 tons GKG or 7.02 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which is around 271.117 tons GKG.
Rice production in 2022 for the population's food consumption is estimated at around 167,120 tons, an increase of 10,966 tons or 7.02 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 156,154 tons.
