The occupancy rate of star-rated hotel rooms in Bengkulu Province in December 2022 reached 51.43 percent and the average guest length of stay was 1.43 days.

Abstract

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Bengkulu Province in December 2022 was recorded at 51.43 percent, an increase of 6.32 points compared to the TPK for star hotels in November 2022 which was recorded at 45.11 percent. When compared to the same month in 2021, the ROR for star hotels increased by 5.07 points.

• The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) at star hotels in Bengkulu Province in December 2022 was 1.43 days, an increase of 0.17 points compared to RLMT in November 2022 which was recorded at 1.26 days. When compared to December 2021, RLMT for star hotels has increased by 0.13 points.

• Of the 10 (ten) provinces on the island of Sumatra, with an ROR for star hotels of 51.43 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks seventh in the TPK in Sumatra. The highest ROR for star hotels is the Riau Archipelago Province with a magnitude of 62.53 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest TPK in Sumatra in December 2022 was Aceh Province, which was 36.82 percent.

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-class hotels in Indonesia in December 2022 reached 56.90 percent. The highest TPK percentage was recorded in DI Yogyakarta Province at 72.87 percent, followed by East Kalimantan Province at 67.52 percent and Riau Archipelago Province at 62.53 percent. Meanwhile, West Sulawesi Province was recorded as the province with the lowest TPK percentage of 29.92 percent, followed by Aceh Province at 36.82 percent, and Kep Province. Bangka Belitung by 36.99 percent.
