In an effort to describe the situation of security and public order Bengkulu Province, BPS of Bengkulu Province publishes crime publication year 2011 whose data source is based on the monthly report from the Regional Police Agency and Penitentiary in Bengkulu Province.  The publication of Crime Statistics of 2011 is a continuation of a similar publication issued by BPS-Statistics of Bengkulu Province each year for the purpose provide an overview and information about the state of security, order and the peace of society along with its characteristics, among others, the perpetrators of crimes by type sex, age group, type of crime, criminal type and duration of punishment.
