Consumer Confidence Index of Bengkulu Province 2017

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) is one of the instruments that can be utilized to provide early information about the latest economic condition. Early information about consumer perceptions of the economic situation is an important requirement for governments, businesses, and communities as it is able to provide early warning on the forecast of regional economic conditions over the coming months. Given the early information, various parties can take the necessary steps to address changing circumstances so as not to cause harm. In order to meet the need for consumer behavior data, this year BPS Bengkulu Province publishes Bengkulu Provincial Tendency Index publication Year 2017. This publication describes the method and result of calculation of Tendency Index of Consumers in 2017. Method of calculating this index has undergone several improvement and refinement since 2011. This publication of course still contains some limitations. To that end, constructive suggestions and criticism from the data consumers are desirable for future refinement. To all parties who have contributed their time, energy, and mind to the publication of this publication, a statement of gratitude is expressed.
