Abstract

The need for data in development planning and evaluation of government performance is needed. Data needs that are up to date, accurate and continuous will result in measurable and targeted development. Data on socio-economic conditions are needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, housing, education, health, security and employment opportunities is needed to find out how far the achievement of development outcomes reaches all levels of society. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is designed to produce population socio-economic data such as education, health, fertility and family planning, housing, crime, and social protection. Starting in 2015, Susenas data collection is conducted twice a year, namely in March and September. This publication is published based on the results of the March 2019 Susenas data.
