BPS Wins First Place for Excellent Service

Responding to an invitation from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, the Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Margo Yuwono, attended the Joint Public Service and Bureaucratic Reform Award ceremony with the theme "Improving the Quality of Public Services and Bureaucratic Reform Towards a World Class Bureaucracy" in Jakarta, (6/12) .
In this event, BPS took home the award for First Rank in the Excellent Service Category of the Ministry of Public Institutions for BPS Integrated Statistical Services for the Province of South Sumatra. Six BPS work units also received the 2022 Corruption-Free Region (WBK) title, namely the Central Kalimantan BPS, Jambi BPS, Jembrana Regency BPS, Tasikmalaya City BPS, Boalemo Regency BPS, and Klungkung Regency BPS. The BPS Integrated Collection System also won the Top 45 Public Service Innovation Institution clusters.
On this occasion, the Minister of PANRB, Abdullah Azwar Anas conveyed the President's message and hopes for all bureaucratic organizers. "The President's directions are clear. Please don't make the bureaucracy complicated, this bureaucracy must have an impact. So, he hopes for all of us so that we can measure the impact. Second, he hopes (bureaucracy, ed) is not a pile of paper. And third, (so that, red) we are more agile, faster," he explained.
