Abstract

  • The Bengkulu Province NTP in June 2019 was recorded at 91.86, which means that the purchasing power of farmers in Bengkulu Province was still a deficit of 8.14 percent. This figure is lower than the NTP in May 2019 of 92.82, down by 1.03 percent. The decline in Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) occurred in the food crop subsector and the smallholder plantation sub-sector. The NTP changes in June 2019 for each sub-sector compared to May 2019 are as follows: food crop subsector (NTPP) 96.56 (down 0.87 percent), horticulture sub-sector NTP (NTPH) 119.52 (up 1.10 percent) , People's plantation crop sub-sector (NTPR) NTP 75.54 (down 3.17 percent), livestock subsector NTP (NTPT) 108.24 (up 1.15 percent) and fisheries / fisheries sub-sector (NTN) NTP 97.67 (up 0.54 percent). Capture fisheries subsector (NTNT) NTP 104.52 (up 1.26 percent) and aquaculture fisheries subsector (NTNB) 95.09 (up 0.24 percent).
  • The Agricultural Business Exchange was recorded at 102.12 or decreased by 0.56 percent compared to May 2019 which was recorded at 102.70. The decrease in Agricultural Business Exchange Value (NTUP) occurred in the food crop subsector and the smallholder plantation sub-sector. The changes in NTUP of each sub-sector are as follows: food crops -0.65 percent, horticulture 1.39 percent, smallholder plantations -2.50 percent, livestock 1.40 percent, fisheries 1.44 percent, capture fisheries 1.89 percent and aquaculture 1.26 percent.
