Abstract
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Bengkulu
Province in October 2021 was recorded at 42.30 percent, down 14.28 points
compared to the TPK for hotels in September 2021 which was recorded at 56.58
percent. When compared to the same month in 2020, the ROR for five-star hotels
decreased by 7.58 points. Average length of stay of guests (RLMT) at five-star
hotels in Bengkulu Province in October 2021 was 1.34 days, down 0.17 points
compared to RLMT in September 2021 which was recorded at 1.51 days. When
compared to October 2020, the RLMT of five-star hotels decreased by 0.05
points. Of the 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra, with a ROR for star
hotels of 42.30 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks the sixth highest TPK in
Sumatra. The highest ROR for Star Hotels is South Sumatra Province with 59.25
percent. Meanwhile, the lowest TPK in Sumatra in October 2021 was the Riau
Islands Province, which was 30.71 percent.
