Abstract
• The economy of Bengkulu Province, based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), at current prices for the second quarter of 2023 reached IDR 24.36 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 13.28 trillion.
• Bengkulu Province's economy in
the second quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter grew by 6.73
percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the Government Administration,
Defense and Compulsory Social Security business sector experienced the highest
growth of 22.35 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Government
Consumption Expenditure (PK-P) component experienced the highest growth of
27.55 percent.
• Bengkulu Province's economy in
the second quarter of 2023 against the second quarter of 2022 grew by 4.18
percent (y-on-y). From the production side, other service business fields
experienced the highest growth of 10.32 percent. From the expenditure side, the
Government Consumption Expenditure (PK-P) component experienced the highest
growth of 10.61 percent.
• The economic structure of
Bengkulu Province in the second quarter of 2023 is still dominated by the
agricultural, forestry and fishery businesses of 27.77 percent. Meanwhile, from
the expenditure side, it was still dominated by the household consumption expenditure
component, which was 61.34 percent.
