September 2023 Bengkulu City Year on Year (yoy) inflation is 2.40 percent

Abstract

■ In September 2023, Bengkulu City's year on year (y-o-y) inflation will be

2.40 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 115.73. The highest y-o-y inflation occurred

in Manokwari was 5.26 percent with a CPI of 119.96 while the lowest occurred in Manado and

Gorontalo was 1.16 percent with Manado's CPI of 113.96 and Gorontalo's HK of 113.23.

■ Inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by rising prices

The price index for expenditure groups, namely the food, beverage and tobacco groups, is

2.62 percent; clothing and footwear group at 3.05 percent; housing group, water,

electricity and household fuel by 1.98 percent; groups of equipment, equipment and

routine household maintenance by 1.56 percent; health group at 3.29 percent;

transportation group at 3.34 percent; information, communication and services group

finance by 0.54 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.97 percent; group

education by 1.22 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group of 2.24

percent; and the personal care and other services group at 1.83 percent.

■ For month to month (m-t-m) inflation, in September 2023 the city of Bengkulu

experienced inflation of 0.23 percent and the year to date (y-t-d) inflation rate was September

2023 of 2.25 percent.
