In November 2024, the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate in Bengkulu Province was 0.82 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.60. The y-on-y inflation rate in Bengkulu City was 1.13 percent, with a CPI of 106.03, while Mukomuko Regency experienced a y-on-y deflation rate of 0.10 percent, with a CPI of 104.31.

The y-on-y inflation in Bengkulu Province occurred due to price increases reflected in the rising indices of most expenditure groups, including: clothing and footwear group by 0.27 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.74 percent; household equipment, appliances, and routine household maintenance group by 0.28 percent; health group by 2.32 percent; transportation group by 0.38 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 2.60 percent; education group by 1.91 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.80 percent; personal care and other services group by 6.44 percent.

Meanwhile, expenditure groups experiencing a decline in indices included: food, beverages, and tobacco group by 0.42 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.71 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Bengkulu Province for November 2024 was 0.20 percent, while the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for November 2024 stood at 0.49 percent.
