Abstract

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is one of the economic indicators that provides information on the development / changes in prices of goods and services paid by the general public. The CPI is obtained from the processing of the Consumer Price Survey (SHK) in Bengkulu city.The 2019 CPI publication presents the CPI and percentage changes in the city of Bengkulu according to expenditure groups and subgroups per month in 2019 consisting of 364 goods and services that are generally consumed by the people of Bengkulu City. The commodity package used to compile the CPI refers to the results of the 2012 Cost of Living Survey (SBH).In addition to the CPI data and changes, there are also twenty commodities which have the biggest inflation / deflation share in each month. In the final section, a comparison of CPI and inflation in the Sumatra region and the National region during 2019.
