Abstract

  • The Bengkulu Province NTP in January 2019 was recorded at 94.64, which means that the purchasing power of farmers in Bengkulu Province was still a deficit of 5.36 percent. This figure is higher than the NTP in December 2018 of 94.08 or an increase of 0.60 percent. Increasing Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) occurs only in the food crop subsector, smallholder plantation, and livestock. The change in NTP in January 2019 for each sub-sector compared to December 2018 was as follows: food crop subsector (NTPP) 102.62 (up 1.15 percent), horticulture horticulture sub-sector (NTPH) 116.96 (down 1.39 percent) , People's plantation crop sub-sector (NTPR) NTP 80.15 (up 1.44 percent), livestock subsector NTP (NTPT) 106.67 (up 0.41 percent) and fisheries / fisheries sub-sector (NTN) NTP 97.38 (down 0.60 percent). The capture fisheries sub-sector NTP (NTNT) was 105.87 (down 1.32 percent) and the aquaculture subsector NTP (NTNB) was 94.20 (down 0.30 percent).
  • Agricultural Business Exchange is recorded at 103.58 or decreases by 0.29 percent compared to December 2018 which was recorded at 103.88. The decline in Agricultural Business Exchange Value (NTUP) almost occurs in all sub-sectors except food crops, smallholder plantations and livestock. The changes in the NTUP of each sub-sector are as follows: food crops 0.41 percent, horticulture -2.50 percent, smallholder crops 0.35 percent, livestock 0.07 percent, fisheries -0.89 percent, fisheries capture -1.82 percent and aquaculture -0.51 percent.
