Abstract

The Bengkulu Province NTP in March 2019 was recorded at 95.58 which means that the purchasing power of farmers in Bengkulu Province was still a deficit of 4.42 percent. This figure is higher than the February 2019 NTP of 95.24, up by 0.36 percent. Increased Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) occur in the horticulture sub-sector, smallholder plantations, livestock and aquaculture. The NTP changes in March 2019 for each sub-sector compared to February 2019 are as follows: food crop subsector (NTPP) 102.07 (down 0.11 percent), horticulture (NTPH) sub-sector NTP 116.18 (up 1.94 percent) , People's plantation crop sub-sector (NTPR) NTP 82.54 (up 0.05 percent), livestock subsector NTP (NTPT) 106.73 (up 0.02 percent) and fisheries / fisheries sub-sector (NTN) NTP 98.10 (down 0.19 percent). Capture fisheries sub-sector (NTNT) NTP 105.26 (down 1.25 percent) and aquaculture fisheries subsector (NTNB) 95.40 (up 0.25 percent).
  • Agricultural Business Exchange Value was 104.37 or increased by 0.59 percent compared to February 2019 which was recorded at 103.76. The increase in Agricultural Business Exchange Value (NTUP) almost occurred in all subsectors except the fisheries and capture fisheries subsector. The changes in NTUP of each sub-sector are as follows: food crops 0.42 percent, horticulture 2.40 percent, smallholder crops 0.08 percent, livestock 0.30 percent, fisheries -0.01 percent, fisheries -1.40 percent and 0.56 percent aquaculture.
