Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Bengkulu Province in June 2021 was recorded at 45.54 percent, an increase of 12.29 points compared to the TPK for hotels in May 2021 which was recorded at 33.25 percent. When compared to the same month in 2020, the ROR for five-star hotels increased by 23.62 points. The average length of guest stay (RLMT) at five-star hotels in Bengkulu Province in June 2021 was recorded at 1.46 days, up 0.18 points compared to the hotel RLMT in May 2021 which was recorded at 1.28 days. When compared to the same month in 2020, the RLMT of five-star hotels decreased by 0.13 points. Of the 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra, with a TPK for star hotels of 45.54 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks as the fourth highest TPK in Sumatra. The highest ROR for Star Hotels is South Sumatra Province with 53.42 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest TPK in Sumatra in June 2021 was the Riau Islands Province, which was 23.03 percent.
